Although the introduction of two-factor authentication has been postponed until further notice, our payment provider KLARNA has already implemented so-called 2-factor authentication for you. The new procedure is explained below:​

What is changing with the immediate transfer with regard to SCA?

Changes in using “Sofortüberweisung” (instant bank transfer) by KLARNA when applying the Strong Customer Authentication

The “Sofortüberweisung” (instant bank transfer) is subject to the guidelines of PSD2 and therefore receives an additional authentication step, the so-called second factor. If you select “Sofortüberweisung” (instant bank transfer) as a payment method during checkout, you will log in with your online banking details as usual. The classic login and password is one “factor”, it must be supplemented by a second one, which must not be physically owned by the customer. With the second authentication step, which may vary depending on the home bank (e.g. fingerprint or TAN procedure), you confirm that KLARNA as the operator of “Sofortüberweisung” has access to your account so that KLARNA can make the payment. Only after this additional confirmation of the second factor, you can complete the payment process.​

Transfer Presses are generally only shipped against prepayment or immediate transfer after receipt of payment.
